Russian ruble falls below 80 per euro on oil market fluctuations
MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- The exchange rate of the Russian ruble with tomorrow settlement sank 79 kopecks to 80.01 per euro at 12.02 p.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, a record low since late August, due to unstable oil market dynamics, according to data of the Moscow Exchange and dealers polled by PRIME.
The ruble slid 58 kopecks against the U.S. dollar to 72.80.
Brent traded at about U.S. $36.6 per barrel.
